About Us

I have been involved with Portuguese Water Dogs since 2002. I brought my first puppy home when I was 14 years old. I was able to have my first litter in 2006 and began showing dogs in conformation at the point. I had a second litter in 2007, but after that I took a step back to really learn the breed. I got my first real show dog in 2010 from Steve & Chris Dostie of DownEast PWDs. Josh, GCH DownEast Cowboy Casanova was a wonderful dog to learn from. He had an absolutely wonderful temperament and so handsome. After taking some time to learn and form long lasting relationships with some wonderful mentors I was ready to begin breeding again. One of my great mentors Jenny Krieger gave me my foundation bitch in 2012. Jade, CH C-Quel Enjoy the Show MaineSail. Jade was a wonderful girl to start my breeding program with. She went onto produce some wonderful puppies. She has truly left her mark. We have continued over the years to strive and produce dogs with great temperaments that can do well in whatever activity they try.
